"I was in Vegas one New Years and somebody came by and said, NSYNC wants to meet you guys'... They were so sweet. They were so nice and they were such cool kids and I remember immediately liking them. Then I remember that night, we were all going to some club and they were all too young, so I went in and somehow passed my I.D. back so that Justin [Timberlake] could get in with my I.D. Justin used it to get in and then tried to pass it out so that Lance [Bass] could get in, but by the third time they had seen the James Van Der Beek I.D., they were like, 'I don't think so, James.'"
